terms of service
effective February 2026 · v1.0
what dull is
dull is a mobile web browser for iOS that loads social media platforms and filters out short-form content feeds. by using dull, you agree to these terms.
what you're agreeing to
dull provides access to third-party websites (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X) through a web view. we don't own, operate, or control those platforms. your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. dull just changes how content is displayed on your device.
the service
- dull filters content client-side on your device. we don't guarantee that filters will work perfectly at all times — platforms change their code frequently.
- dull is provided "as is." we do our best to keep filters working, but we can't promise uninterrupted service.
- we may update the app to fix filters, improve performance, or add features. updates are delivered through the App Store.
subscriptions
dull is a paid app. it includes a 3-day free trial, after which a subscription (dull pro) is required. subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and managed by RevenueCat.
- subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- you can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.
your conduct
don't use dull to violate any laws or the terms of service of the platforms you access through it. dull is a browser — what you do with it is on you.
intellectual property
dull, including its design, code, and brand, is owned by us. the platforms you access through dull own their own content and trademarks. we don't claim any rights to their stuff.
limitation of liability
dull is a content filter for web browsing. we're not liable for:
- content displayed on third-party platforms
- temporary filter failures due to platform changes
- any loss of access to platform features caused by filtering
- any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid for dull in the 12 months preceding any claim.
changes to these terms
we may update these terms. if we make significant changes, we'll note it in the app or on our website. continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
termination
you can stop using dull at any time by deleting the app. we can terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms, though we'd rather not.
governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate. any disputes will be resolved through good-faith discussion first — and if that doesn't work, through binding arbitration.
